Acrocat's Album: Only Ovation
Author: Acrocat (Show all albums)

A run-down of my small Ovation Family: a 2011 Custom Legend Cutaway C779LX, a 2009 Adamas 1687-8, a Glen Campbell 12-string (40th anniversary re-issue), a 1985 1619 Custom Legend. The last and latest is a 1992 N 769-5 Nakao black Custom Legend Cutaway to replace "the one that got away" - my "bought new" 1983 1669 Custom Legend Cutaway. Its sale was a life-long regret. The N769 should help rectify this once it's headstock's chopped ear has been fixed. Thanks for looking!

The finest 12-string I've ever played. A Glen Campbell 40th Anniversary re-issue.

The N769's chopped headstock to be repaired in 2021. Otherwise it's perfect (not the case though)! I'm picky.

The N769 replacement for my regrettable sale of my 1983 1669 Custom Legend Cutaway.

Yes, while it's about the bling on the outside, it's the A bracing that's on the inside that makes it a star.

The 3 Amigos that is now The Famous Five!

Ain't nothing like a deep bowl.

This one is a truly rare bird and is very precious to me. She is a fairly recent arrival that USPS almost lost.

Then with the 1669 - now 35 years later with the N769 Nakao. This collage was sent to me by the N769's seller.

A 2011 C779LX Custom Legend Cutaway (USA-made) and possibly for sale in 2021.

Ol Blue who now lives in Bondi Beach rather than New Hartford.
