Random quote: "Jazz... isn't that just a series of mistakes disguised as musical composition?” - David St. Hubbins of Spinal Tap

A SillyLittleBoy's Ovations

Just a couple Legend series guitars for now, but look for new Ovations comings soon.... (Adamas?) The difference in age between these two guitars is great, with one being almost 35 years old and the other only 12.

My Year-1979 Model 1651 Legend LTD guitar showing it's negligent abuse (crack in top just right of center of picture)

1651 Legend LTD guitar - I didn't even know what I had when I bought it, but it retailed for about $1000 back in 1979

1651 Legend LTD - AAA Sitka Spruce solid top, Fretboard Ebony with Pearl inlays, 24K Gold plated tuning machines... TOP OF THE LINE!

The newest member of my Ovation family - 1867 Legend Series bought used for $400. Made in USA in 2001, condition = EXCELLENT/Like New. I will be pampering, caring, and maintaining this Legend guitar in ALL the ways you can and in all the RIGHT ways.

It's hard to see, but this guitar has absolutely no flaws, scratches, cracks, or nicks of any kind. The ONLY small blemish is a small area that has some slight dulling of the finish just below the sound hole due to the pick hitting in that area while playing.

My sweet new baby! It plays like a dream, has superb action, and is so easy on the fingers I can play it all night long... and I am!
