BEFORE - only took pics w/phone, but you can see the bridge is broke and tore off. |
BEFORE - a closer look at the broken bridge and the crack. You can see the pickup just hanging loose. We saved the pickup and it works fine. |
AFTER - bridge replaced, crack repaired, and all cleaned up, buffed, and polished. |
AFTER - another view of the nice shiny top. |
AFTER - nice deep bowl |
AFTER - full view |
AFTER - headstock |
AFTER - full on view |
You can see enough of the first 3 numbers of the serial # tag to see that this is a 1979-year Legend (I airbrushed out the last 3 numbers). |
Another view of the repaired crack, which really isn't THAT bad. I once had thought I might spend way too much money on it and have it refinished. Don't think it really needs it now. |
Here you can see the repaired crack in the top. The repair was done without any inserts. They were able to pull it all together and glue it AND the only reason it's more visible than usual is due to the loss of finish on the edges of the crack. |
The only other blemish on this guitar is this mark, which appears to be just in the finish and not in the wood at all. |
