I know for a lot of you in the northern hemisphere that the weather is cooling down so I just thought I'd share this.

My daughter's school band played at a Xmas carols gathering this afternoon and this evening. There was a stage set up just to the right of them and I couldn't help thinking that it was a great place for a gig.

She's the one near the middle..back row...between the dude in the black t shirt and the woman in the white cap

I don't have a fancy camera..it's just a little digital point and shoot so it's not the greatest shot but you get the general idea. The afternoon sun, the cooling breeeze and the calm pacific ocean made for a beautiful afternoon.

No rain here today Chris. I sweltered for a couple of hours mowing the lawn and doing those odd jobs around the house. The above picture was taken about 6.oo tonight and it's still nice and toasty here

That's alittle hard on Santa and his sleigh, warm woolen mittens, and Frosty the Snowman, huh?

I forgot to mention that there was a celeb up on stage for the band later in the evening. Should have taken a couple of pics but I was too busy socialising.

I'm migrating South for Christmas. Brisbane is too hot and sticky already.

Sydney and Canberra, for about two weeks. Canberra is nice in Summer. Hot days, low humidity UV index 2035, cool nights.
