The 2005 pictured @ the show has a 2pc mapleneck, what's up with that???

That's the best picture of the new bowl I have seen... The hard line or edge running diagonally across the back, where it breaks into the new "contour" reminds me of the eyebrows of one of the startrek Next Generation guys who was always after some type of gold... He ran the bar on the ship, had a brother and they both had bad teeth...

The flame maple neck looks nice, but I still prefer the five piece. You're thinking of that Ferengi guy, don't know his name and I'm not sure why I even remember that as I think I've only seen TNG maybe a couple of times. Guess it made an impression. :)

Feringi?
His name was Quark and he was in
Star Trek Deep Space 9.
The Feringi did show up several times on
StarTrek:TNG in fact it was the first time anyone had seen the alien race. In addition to bad teeth the species had BIG EARS!!

The maple neck was just for show I believe. The bowl is chrome and I think that should go into production, I like that look, but Frank will kill me if I say that out loud so don't tell him.

It's OK if you whisper it softly. Just loud enough for one of us to hear you. Then we'll pass it along. Don't worry Bill, We've got your back.

Hey, Al, I heard from W2 that the factory is offering chrome bowls on the new models. Any idea how long before you have one in stock? Oh, and tell 'em to forget that namby-pamby flamer neck and put on a real five-piece.

Another reason for a chrome bowl. You could flip it over and bounce back the lights of the lasers and disco balls.
The new bowl is supposed to solve the slipage problem reported by a few mal-contents. This slick chrome finish might still make it a problem. Maybe a diamond plate friction plate is in order.

Well I'll ask too. Any idea when the maple neck and the chrome bowls are going to be available?
