Hi,

I've bought a 00C but the seller is only happy to ship within the US. Says he cannot get a quote to ship to the UK for less than $300. That is crap, I've had MANY Ovations shipped in OHCS for between $70 and $140 with USPS Priority International.

So here is the favour, would someone be willing to get a quote from their local USPS (not USPS Store as they charge more) and take delivery and send on to me, I'll pay the shipping cost in full obviously!

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

The seller is in Elmhurst, Chicago. So he would send to you and you send to me in the UK. I've PM'd you...

Dweezil ... I've been remiss in not posting up my thoughts and pics on the most beautiful Ovation thread, but that's where my 2000 fits. Especially in the eyes of those folks who visit my loft and see all the guitars. I'll post some pics over there.

Dweezil,
I'll be glad to do it: should be around $100 or so; I'll need your address and the aproximate weight of the package. (I can get the quote as soon as you get me the info). I'll PM my address for you to have the guitar shipped to me from the seller and then I'll get it on to you...I've done this for Arnaud in france and others...

Mike

Sorry, Dweez. I was under the impression that you were all set. I'd be gald to help also. Tell your seller to contact me 773.467.0756 (cell) I'll arrange to get the guitar and then ship on to Brighton. Makes sense since I'm right here in Chicago on the north shore.

Dweezil, your PM box is full: delete some so I can send you a message:
For now: what did you decide on the guitar you wanted shipped? If its coming here, send me the tracking number so I can know when to expect it...shipping from here (the east coast of the US) will be cheaper, but you decide and let me know what you have decided please.

Mike,

I'd be glad to get in touch with the local seller and ship the guitar out to you for the first leg of the journey. Is that a good way to go?

Again: we need the coordinates of the "Elmhurst guy."
