I’m having an audio problem with my new 1777 LX Ovation Guitar with the OP-Pro Preamp when I play it through my Marshall ARS50 Acoustic Amp. After playing for a while the audio output from the guitar causes the Amp to distort. Pushing on the guitar’s Preamp and the distortion goes away. I have isolated my problem to the Preamp. Is anyone else having this problem? Help.

I've had problems with the preamp on my 1777LX cutting out on me. The problem with my guitar was loose wiring. There is a plastic harness that is secured to the inside of the bowl that holds the wires in place. Mine came loose and caused my "cutting out" problem. I solved the problem by securing the harness to the bowl with some electrical tape. This has solved the problem for the most part. You may want to check for loose wires.
