Joined: February 2005 Posts: 55 Location: England | ello MWoody just incase ur intrigued as to my screen name i shall let u into my almighty secret! i am quite a forgetful fellow, but i have a little blue buddha statue next to my Pc. needless to say the screen name just sounds cool and is easy to be reminded of!!! a slothead 12 string eh. in all honesty i wouldn't know what that looks like. but i can restring a flyod rose equipped guitar and get it in tune quite quickly, which is a horrible task even for a veteran guitar roadie! so many allen bolts, such a short fuse, smashy smashy, problem gone love matty | ||

Joined: December 2004 Posts: 4394 Location: East Tennessee | Woody, Amen to restringing a 12 string slothead. I have 2 of them,(1- 1972 Ovation Pacemaker and a 1968 Martin 12-20). When I am in the process my wife has learned to leave me alone. Also doing the nylon string isn't my idea of a good time. | ||

Restringing a Floyd-equipped guitar one string at a time is closer..... | ||

Granted, I would much rather swap strings on a 6 than any slot/flat 12 string. Hey Abendicum, glad to see someone from Fort Laudy!!! Lived there up until 2 years ago, I definately miss it now that I get to deal with New England winters! :( | ||
