Lots of great new guitars coming out this year. What are you lined up to buy? Check all that apply.

Dave,

I can't vote since you didn't include a "none of the above" option. That's not a knock at the new guitars by any means, I just know I can't afford any of 'em. :(

Yes, a "none of the above" would have been a good idea. I will not be buying any, either.

I'd like to see the results but I can't unless I vote. And if put in a token vote I would skew the results. So,please post the results after the votes have been counted.

I'm working up a case of GAS for a 24fret shreddalicious guitar (hey, maybe I need to reacquire the Viper from Woody! Is it done yet????). Didn't see one of those listed as an option. But, I wish I could see the results. :)

Yeah, that's my fault for the way I set it up. Sorry. Next time will make visible even if no vote. So far the results are:
05C = 7
12 fretter = 7
A1 reissue = 1
A2 reissue = 2
47 = 3
OFC = 11

By the way, at list prices that's over $100,000. worth of guitars. Dave

Wow, I am surprised, yet not surprised, that the OFC guitar has garnered the most votes.

Stephen,
I think you have ordered the 12fret...you got the actual specs on it?
I ordered one but still don't know them.

Voting is easy. Opening up your wallet and putting down the cash may be different results.

Same here Jeff,

I am assuming it is the standard neck but it would not hurt my feelings if it came with a wide neck. My hands are large enough to comfortably go with either width depending on whether I am fingerpicking or strumming.

I have Bear Paws. Big Square Hands.

BSHs...

The distance of my (left hand) spread fingers...the tip of my thumb to the tip of my pinky across spread palm is just over 9 3/4 inches. (This could be a poll question). The width of my hand across palm, index to pinky is 4inches. My ringer finger is size 13.

I should just play bass

WOW....Interesting how different parts of the hands can be different for each person.

My tip of the thumb to tip of pinky is 10 1/4 inches. (years of stretching to palm a basketball).

The width of my hand across the palm is 3 1/2 inches. I think my ring size is 12.

Maybe the long fingers without the large palm is what makes either neck comfortable for me.

Has to be a Driver. Nobody would want a Taylor wedge!

My hand is only 9 1/2 thumb to pinky and I still like fat necks

It's the R5 9.5 degree Driver, still shaft, European version with 8.6 flex rather than 8.3 flex. Not legal in tournaments but I hardly ever play in tournaments so......

Oh, Did you think I was talking about a guitar?? Sorry

I guess I didn't vote correctly in the POLL. I selected 12 fret Adamas and OFC guitar of course, but I didn't mean to select the 12-Fret Adamas. I'm holding out for the '05 Adamas (or maybe it's going to be an '06 at this point). I really like the idea of an Adamas with all of the LX bells and whistles, new bowl design, and natural graphite top with the Op-Pro electronics. I don't see how it can ge any better than that.

12 fretter = 10
A1 reissue = 2
A2 reissue = 4
47 = 5
OFC = 12

Dave,
I failed to check the 12fretter box when I voted. And since it is already paid for, I guess you could add one more to the count.
