Here's an MP3 comparing the VIP to the OpPro Studio in the '07 Collectors. Strings are nearly new DR Phosphor Bronze Rare, 12 -54. The recording was done with no processing whatsoever.

The sound sample is a little something I've been messing with this week, showcasing my amazing fingerstyle  as well as strummed chords. Each section consists of about 30 seconds of fingerstyle and 30 seconds of strum. The first segment is just plain clean through the Studio, with the eq flat. (The VIP sounds identical to me when run clean with no image). The second is the VIP with image 3, about 50%. Treble was boosted slightly to about 70% to get the best sound possible. The third segment is the Studio with about 50% compressor and 33% exciter added. The fourth segment is the identical clean first segment pasted on the end.

You may need headphones to hear the details. On my crappy desktop speakers it all sounds the same.

COOL! Will have a listen later on my studio PC through near field monitors but on my laptop I would say the third section sounds the best, it's fuller. Ta...
