Stephen has sent me my first Ovation solid body(also his first) a 1973 natural viper, he has sent my daughter Shannon her first solid body Kaman(1985 Takamine gz100) looks like kind of a legacy starting here, she will probably get the Viper as her first solid O as well.....sometime after my departure  but she may play it any time she wants. :D

The Wurly is packed and awaiting the French buyers decision as to carrier, should ship out by monday or so but it's paid for so not my problem anymore.

best deal I could get for him to marseilles was 580 portal to portal via dhl.

if he can do better fine but don't think so, at the packed dimensions it's not the weight it's the
size(packed extremely solid), here is my local shipper's site pkgsplus.com

my Peavey MaceVT just sold so Stephen is the 12 still available?(local buyer thank job no way anyone would ship that monster and be willing to pay the rate)

Shannon and I are waiting patiently for the postman...

They should be here tomorrow.... I hope, I hope ,

Thank you Stephen Terry!!(check your pm's)

God Bless,

Glenn

Glenn,
Be sure you're not receiving Stolen Goods. Turns out ST sold my guitar collection on ebay right under my nose, while distracting me with a picture of custom Tito Puente Bongos. Sneaky fella.

Hey Jeff,
After the cops came over, I cheerfully gave them your guitars back. Be careful around heat. I would hate for the Ovation stickers I placed over the MOB's to fall off!

Oh...and if they look a little different....don't worry...they really are!

Glenn, thanks for everything.

You will love the Viper. Very slick playing and sounding guitar and Shannon will luuuvvvvv the GX100.

Oh, I addressed the Viper to you and the Tak to Shannon but don't let her think she owns it until she picks up those extra shifts at the restuarant and cleans her room ;)

Thanks Stephen!!! they got here today....very nice pair of guitars.. the viper is stunning you weren't kidding when you listed it as excellent condition. for being 32+ years old it's pretty minty.

we just got home from work and are now enjoying the new members of the family.

Shanny loves the Takamine and I must admit it's very nice as well, also considering it's age 20+, but those pointy aggressive looking guitars just don't seem to go with my pot-belly, bald spot, or playing style...

but you were right very fast neck... extremely hot pickups(whatever they are)and the zero nut is nice as well did you install it or was it on when you got it? and through her amp with all the digital effects (she and nick are now passing it back and forth and working on some licks.) it's definitely a rock monster..

as for the Viper, I LOVE IT!!! gonna be a keeper for sure.

back to playing. will post pics in a day or two.

Thanks again!!

God Bless,

Glenn and Shannon

Glad you like them Glenn. I usually try to describe a guitar with the eye of a collector....and we know how picky they can be....so excellent to me is most likely near mint to others.

Anyway, happy that you like them. They are both excellent playing and sounding guitars that will hopefully serve for another 20+ years!

Glenn,
Did you run the serial numbers? I heard Mott The Hoople couldn't find their gear for their reunion debut in Denver.
