What is the difference between the thin (1/8") saddles and the thicker ones? Ive noticed all korean models have the thin saddles, but balladeers have them too. I would think the thicker saddle would make for better sustain. Any comments on the tone of thick vs thin? Is one better than the other?

The thick saddles are the Original Patented Pickup and the thin have undersaddle pickups. Look for an OPP on an Ovation.

if you're looking at acoustic only you will find good O's with the thin saddles....as the legend on your previous thread.
