Location: New Hampsha | Really off-the-wall question: On "The Partridge Family" TV show, one of the characters, Danny, as played by Danny Bonnaduce(sp?), played an Ovation Typhoon Bass. Has anyone done any research into what happened to his guitar? Where is it? |

I'm still waiting to hear from Randy Travis about the 1537 he held for an album cover. |

Location: New Hampsha | Aw, come on! There's a degree of dignity in asking this august group about a guitar that has some (albeit small) historical notoriety. I care about the Typhoon; I don't give a rat's *furry tush* about Danny Partridge/Bonaduce. No way I want to go near that website..... |

All I could find was this:
And Danny, ah, played... bass in the loosest understanding of the work "played". |

Location: Fayetteville, NC | XBJ, Les from Las vegas had the Forever Family project. If you do a search under Forever Family You'll find some soundclips and a photo with some neat Vintage Ovations.Les might have some idea about what happened to some of the Ovations from the show. My understanding is that Ovation sent Several for use as props but the total number escapes me.I do know there were some breadwinners,
Balladeers, as well as some Ovation sound equipment. |
