I`d like to take the chance to update my little gallery thread here.
Yesterday I got a new baby from the tax department. It is from the US again and I got it really cheap.
I is a 1617 Legend deep bowl, born in 1978.
I love the sound and it is just like the custom balladeer that my father owns since 1980 and which I learned on when I was about 11 years old.
I especially love the "old smell" of the interior of those vintage Ovations, when you put your nose in the soundholes. It may sound silly, but it`s just one of those childhood memories. It is in good condition for its age and it plays fantastic.
Here is is:
Enjoy! See you next time |

I shot a beautiful 1974 Ovation Balladeer in excellent condition without any cracks or so. (the seller says -she`s a female :) )
I`ll add pix soon !
By the way, I cannot find information about a serial number like #0195XX. When has it been made? 1974 or even 1973?
Thx |
