I did get an acoustic guitar today, well OK acoustic/electric. It's a Takamine G series, kind of a blue color. A Kaman product, so I sorta kept it in the family. :D

I was wodering the same thing when i read the post. However he probably just choose one that felt and sounded good to him at the time. That plus he might have gotten a really good deal lets wait adn see if we get any insight into the matter.

The main reason is it was on sale. Just couldn't hardly pass it up. :)
It had been $799, and was marked down to $459. :)

I had had my eye on it for quite awhile. I was waiting for the US made Ovation custom to go on sale, but it didn't happen. So ya gets whats ya can gets when ya can get it. :D

Takamine is part of the Kaman empire though. Hey it could have been a Fender. :D

I can handle the noogies. I'm glad I bought the Tak though it does sound good. :D At least it's a good one for the money. :D

Yeah, I'll bet it is too. Amazing how they can want more for them used than you can buy new ones for. :D I've had similar experiences at pawn shops. :D

Does anyone know of a Tak fanclub or board? I do have an O and an Adamas but also have a Tak EF341C that I like very much.

Yahoo groups has a fan club but it is mainly for the old solid bodies. Search the Yahoo site and you should find it.
