Do you really want a "prototype"?

Marcel play this adamas on his lp's "Dadi a Nashville vol I & II". And you can see this great guitar on the "Dadi's Olympia DVD" from 1988. Jean Felix Lalanne (french guitar player), the second owner of this guitar said that it's probably one of the greatest he has played... Jérôme ;)

With cars, there are usually a bunch of changes, because an automobile is a complicated piece of hardware(and getting more so). With a guitar, it could be possible to get it right the first time..... Also, prototypes are usually more handmade than the production models, with more care taken. A prototype guitar could be quite a sweet piece.... Roger

I have several pocket knives that are proto's and they are worth way more than the production knives. :D Proto's are usually different from production pieces lookswise also. :) That's why I like 'em. :D

In most all cases I would think that they are more interesting and ultimately worth more than production pieces.

Generally these instruments are more desireable to the "collector". Most of these guitars tend to be well built and have good sound although that is just a generalization. Some just have different hardware or custom colors. IMHO most of the time if the guitar is an experiemtn gone bad it is cut up and thrown in the dumpster, if it had potential and made it out of the factory, then you probably have a real gem.
