Take a look at the following picture of the promanade on Brighton's sea front. See if you can guess what Santa is bringing me this Xmas to help celebrate 1000 posts... (I've give you a clue it's not the seagull)

Early in the next year I'll be having a cull (two 97Cs, 84C and the OFC calendar 93C!)

It's way to quite at work today so I had time to do the math.
Dweez... at this rate you will reach the 10k post number sometime in January, 2015.
Your post rate so far is a tad less than 4 per day. Respectable enough, but realize that recent 10k member Woody averages just under 6 post per day.
I just thought I'd take a minute and put in perspective for you..... rookie! :D ;)

Slipkid, I like to think it's the quality of the post not the quantity, but I'm working on it!

Surely I must have graduated from rookie with a 1000 posts, sig updated for those who need a clue ;)

Very nice dweez. That's quite an entry into Adamas territory. Let me know if I should slow down my post count again, so you can catch up, Brad.

Very nice Dweez. ;) I remember walking that area about 11 years ago. Beautiful, except for the "sand" on the beach. :D

Nice ship Dweezil. Are you somewhere hidden in the photo ? ..... Due to the relative vicinity between us, I have to think of you as a possible supplier of nice gears. Don't you ?
Enjoy your new beauty.

As you know the thing is so HOT that's the most sensible place for it, but OK here you go...

It's not the size of the post (count), it's how you use it.

Super nice guitar Dweez, let me know when you want to sell it. I can't afford the new ones.

It's not the size, quantity or the quality of the post that matters!

It's whether or not you enjoyed yourself, made others happy and if you get invited back for more!

Congrats D-man.

Patch,

ha! From what I've been told this one is likely to be buried with me. And in any case as you never sold me your 87C despite me giving you plenty of opportunity I don't see why I should ;)

So sell the 87 and the UTE and step up a gear, hey I even know someone who'll buy the 87! ;)

I promised myself that if I bought this I would finally bite the bullet and record the 1st album also to start playing live!

This really does mean that the old faithful (84 and 93) and me will have to part ways, they just won't get played and that's a crime.

My cunning plan was to get an Adamas that's just perfect for me so I wouldn't need to buy another one, clever huh?
