I know he's a Cort guy these days but I wonder if anyone's ever asked him why he left the Ovation stable. That 12 string Adamas looks like the guitar on the cover of one of his albums "Twelve Frets To One Octave" and if you wanna hear his Adamas 6 and 12 strings in full flight, check out his album "Bolero".

Joined: June 2005 Posts: 6 Location: melbourne, Fl. | Hey Guys: I'll be ready to open the auction on Mr. Coryell's instruments soon, but have to wait for him to return from Japan and then Spain, that'll be 3 more weeks. I want all the info and stories about the instruments that I can possibly wrench out of him to make it more interesting...this is a guy who is so brilliant an acoustic player that to own one of his pieces, I believe, is a rare honor. I wish I wasn't so poor and that I could keep them (as they were a gift to me for my 52nd birthday) but alas I am not a famous musician. Larry said I could sell them if I needed to and make some money. So here I am. Jazz don't pay de beels. He's on the fence right now about the 12-string, but said to show it around. Also- Don't get too crazy about the website until it's finished! Ha! Anyway, I hope some deserving person (read:player) gets these pieces. Peace, Pauly
