Local player from Boulder, Trace Bundy

Song is called Hot Capo Stew and he is using 5 capos at the same time.

Wow. That's certainly off my scope...

Sure liked what I heard though.

That was OK, but check out some of his other stuff. He does "Sweet Child O' Mine" using a looper, and he does a Backstreet Boys tune straight up. Good show. The boy does use a lot of capos.

Might be a nice show to catch someday, Stephen. I seem to have gotten away from using even one capo.

Well, I can't imagine using more than one but it was very creative to watch how when it took off each one towards the end of the song how it left him in an alternate tuning.

He is pretty amazing to watch live. My son turned me on to him. He goes by the name ACOUSTIC NINJA!

Master Temp demo'ed this technique for Slipkid and myself at the last tour using two capos. Very Cool :)

Nice plug, but my little dem was nowhere near as elegant or sophisticated. I met Trace at NAMM in Jan via my good friend Randall Williams who is Kysers demo guy and another master of the partial capo. Both Trace and Randall are great players and very cool guys. Trace was using protypes of a new version of the Kyser shortcut which will be launched at winter NAMM in Jan. It's a very neat twist on the partial capo concept. You heard it here first!
