I have a previous post about neck work I have a 1986 custom balladeer model 1712 is this just an average ovation or was it top of the line in that era. also does ovation make any guitars with wide necks thanks

I think the Cust. Baladeer was just up from the Std. Baladeer in '86. Not top of the line, but nice appointments W/O being pretentious like the higher models. If you're looking for a steel string wideneck, check out the Folklore. John <>{
