Random quote: “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” -Plato

Apparently, according to www.cnn.com, the bastards are at it again albeit on what seems to be a somewhat smaller scale (at least from what is being reported at this hour). Our thoughts and prayers go out to any and all affected by the terrorists. Stay strong - they'll get theirs in the end. Let's just hope their end is more sooner than later.

I was attending hospital right in the middle of town when it happened - when I came out the place was somewhat chaotic, but, traffic aside, everybody seemed to be going on as usual.
When I came out and hailed a taxi I croaked "Blackfriars station" to the cabbie and he said "Bad news eh?" I was just about to say something about "How come everyone's an amateur oncologist these days?" when I heard the word bomb on his radio. Talk about becoming self-obsessed...... :o

They should go to allah sooner rather than later. Bastards didn't kill enough people so they're pissed off. Hope they all die in their sleep.

I have a lot of respect for the way the people of London are handling this. News reports indicate that it was pretty much "business as usual" in London today. That's a nice "go f---- yourself" to the terrorist scumbags. We're pretty lucky in America because we haven't had to deal with this sort of thing until fairly recently. London has survived the blitz and the I.R.A. I don't think these assholes know who they're dealing with.

The good old British Bobbies today cornered a suspect on a subway train, gave chase, jumped on him, sat on him and pumped 5 bullets into his head. The BBC radio reports said he was "certified dead at the scene." Nobody states the obvious quite like the BBC.

I heard the first reports - there was an interview with a witness who was in the subway car when the police chased the guy in and blew him away. The witness (a typical London bloke) gave a great description of the events and then the interviewer asked him what he did once the shooting stopped. "I fucked off out of there" he replied. They cut his last bit out on subsequent playings of the interview.

when did the bobbies start to use deadly force?
I thought they just made people die of laughing by wearing those funny hats?

just a stupid attempt at humour in the wake of a serious situation.
