Location: Malden, Massachusetts | What is the most recommended style/gauge/brand of strings for getting a half-decent unplugged sound?
What strings are standard on Ovations? |

Location: Malden, Massachusetts | I was reading up on this an learned that a piezo pickup works on pressure, and is not magnetic like a regular electric guitar pick-up, therefore, you do not need a steel core string.
I found a site with a description of this that features "Acousticore" strings with a nylon filmament core.
