Could be a Univox or other Japanese ripoff of the Gibson 335 from the 60s or early 70s.

Kaman GTX was a different guitar. This one on ebay looks like a bad use of too many left over pots. Dave

it's a dishmutzenfiszer 553. they mad a few hundred or so in 1977. using gibson orig. PAF's, but they called them farfromtonen.
made out of solid laminate and painted by the finest paint monkeys on their line.

From what I could decipher, it is like a Framus, but they aren't sure of what it is. It has 2 seperate volume controls, 2 seperate tone controls, and a blending pot of some sort, with a pickup switch, and it's a 12 string. Looks to be made good from the pics. My high school German isn't that good when it comes to technical phrases. :D

Hahaha. If you take the item number and search on ebay us it translates it somewhat.
The first line of the description reads "noname semi akustic Blues/Jazz guitar no Gibson".

German technical terms aren't my strong point, but I did get the same as you about it not being a Gibson.

They had mentioned it being similar to a Framus, but that it didn't have any markings on the head stock. May have came from some small maker, and someone removed their name from it. :)

It's a "Noname". Closly related to Noone and Nobody. Two trouble makers you shouldn't bother with.
