Payne 7'6" 3/2 Model 197 Written on the hang tag is the weight, 4 oz. and the order number is 20765. This indicates this rod was crafted in the late 1960's by Jim Payne. The guides are wrapped with brown silk, tipped with yellow. The ferrules are blued nickel silver and have ferrule plugs. DF cork grip. The uplocking Spanish cedar insert reel seat has aluminum fittings. Included are the original cloth bag with hang tag and brass capped tube. This rod is in excellent plus condition and was made for Abercrombie & Fitch. $4,995. | ||
