I don't think I'd trust any of MY guitars on one of those. If you're going to put them in the closet, they'd be safer in cases.

I dunno, they look more sturdy than an average clothes hanger. Reminds me of the hangers that Jeff Dammer used.

What would be cool for those members that have sizable collections, would be to install one of those conveyor type systems like they have at the dry cleaners. You just push the bottom and your guitar collection passes before your eyes until you stop at the one you want.

If mine is in the closet it's in a case.

SWMBO owns the closets. I get the walls and ceilings.

I wouldn't even hang a Taylor on one of those.

I have a 5 bedroom house, and not one closet is available to hang a guitar in...obviously fake advertising or newly divorced if he has an empty closet.

It seems like a pretty nifty device to me, but in real world terms, I can't imagine ever using it. I suppose if I were living alone, maybe. But all I see is a chance for someone to bash all my guitars (well, "both" my guitars) together in order to try to squeeze in one more coat.

Yeah, I'd definitely have to have something to hang between the guitars to keep them from banging together. Of course, all this completely ignores the fact that the reason I hang my guitars in the first place is so I can look at 'em and grab 'em at a split second's notice when I want to play 'em. Neither of those purposes are well served by these closet hangers. I'm with those who have said, if it's in a closet it's in a case.

While maybe not in a closet, mounting a heavy closet rod off the wall would work as well, or may in a "showcase" of some sort.

I have been looking for a better solution than "the cases" for some time. While I have some guitars hanging, they never seem to be the ones I want to play, and it's such a hassle to go get a guitar out of a case. Of course the first thing that happens is I get distracted by the other guitars...

If you have a few guitars, cases and wall hangers do work great. In a studio environment, or large collection, I could see a potential use.

I get neither. I might have more guitars if I had somewhere to put them without "my side" of the bedroom looking like the living room at Smokies Jam.
