Location: SoCal | I've been sitting here on the phone on hold for the last half hour (trying to determine if somebody is a guest of the great state of California), and started wondering what it would sound like, if somebody sent Ovation an older guitar, say a 1970's Legend with a damaged top and had a new top built with the LX bracing in it? |

I think it would sound a little bass-ier. The bowl probably won't vibrate your gizzards as much.
How's the GFKAV with a Pot reduction sound? |

I would think that on guitars with the old VT bracing, the improvement would be dramatic. On the newer A braced models, I don't know. |

Location: Canton (Detroit), MI | It might sound pretty darn good.....but....considering what it would probably cost, it might be just as well to buy a new LX!!!!
I have one of the dreaded VT-braced late 70s Legends that could be a guinea pig for this, but its top is in perfect shape, and I actually am fine with the sound.
