Hi,

I just like to introduce to you my young friend Byron Louvet. He's only 13 years old.
I've met Byron in Alsace (east of France) and I have been very impressed by his talent.
He has recorded his first CD (not as a professional) last summer titeld "Nostalgic" and I've made a special page for him on the site with some samples of his music:

BYRON\'S PAGE

I hope you'll enjoy to discover his music.
He don't speak English very well (just like me... :D ) but I'm sure that he will appreciate your opinion.
You can imagine the pride for a young boy to have a message from people all around the world.. ;)
So, if you want, feel free to send him some words.

Thanks

Jérôme :)

PS: A pic of Byron playing on my Adamas.

Byron, you have a super talent. Listen to the best guitarists, and learn from what you hear. You'll soon be one the best also.

Byron, your music takes me back to Will Ackerman's early work. It restores hope in me that someone your age is moving in this direction. Please continue! And someday get yourself an Adamas I...that would suit you!

I could listen to him all day.
That's what a guitar was meant to do.
I tip my hat to you, Byron.

I've had a message from Byron today.

He'd like to thank you all for your very kind messages.

He also told me that he hope to meet you in some years when he will be on stage with one of his models the great Tommy Emmanuel (joke).

Thanks for your kindness ;)

Jérôme :)

Jerome, Please tell Byron that I met Tommy Emmanuel after one of his performances last year and Byron could not have a nicer or more talented role model. He is simply an extremely personable man who just happens to play the guitar better than most others on the planet. Otherwise you would think he lived next door. I am waiting for his next visit to our area - that is supposed to be in the next couple of months - and I plan on being in the audience again.

I hope Byron continues to learn and to play and, when Byron and Tommy come together someday, I promise to be in that audience as well.

(Also - check your personal messages)

Alas it is practice, not age that makes us better guitarists. :(

Rock on Byron. :)

I'd like to add, after having had the pleasure of emailing back and forth with Byron for a few months now is that beyond being an incredible player, he is one heck of a nice kid too. Believe it or not - he has taken up the task of trying to teach my finger style...

...OVER THE NET! (He has no idea.)

Absolutely great kid. Thanks again, Jerome!
