what would you guys recomend for a recording system that I could plug into and it would record and burn cds of my guitar playing without having to deal with a pc. I guess you call them a stand alone unit. thanks

Lots of good ones out there. It is really based on how much you want to spend, how many tracks you want to record, etc.

Im thinking of spending around 600 dollars it doesnt have to be to elaborate maybe five or six tracks thanks
