Joined: December 2004 Posts: 1116 Location: Keller, TX | After all the glowing reviews of the factory service, I went ahead and sent my 1681 off to get some cosmetic issues addressed. The binding around the body had been chipped, the fretboard was stained (naptha didn't do much or I wasn't aggressive enough with the steel wool), there was a dent in the back of the neck, and rebuild of the electronics. So, it is on its way. Looking forward to getting it back. Maybe cwk will even sign it.... :D | ||

At the prices they repair things, someone would be foolish to have a repair done locally. | ||
