Having fallen in love with the sound from this Pacemaker (despite it's many problems), I got to thinking about the NEW pacemaker I picked up on the tour. I wasn't nearly as impressed with THAT one as I am with this '79 model, but I just looked for it on the Ovation site and it's not there. Did the Traditional Series just not fly or what?

Don't think the Pacemaker was reissued. The Traditional Series is the 1711 Balladeer, 1717 Legend, 1718 Elite and 1719 Custom Legend.

I'd LOVE to see and play one of these...but I believe Al said in a string a while back that they were special order only.

any chance they'll reissue the 1758? I'd be all over that with the modern elx. the 1718 is beautiful.

God Bless,

Al, is that right... Are they by special order only?

If so, does that mean they'd tack on an additional upcharge to do one as a lefty? Just trying to get ideas for down the road.

They are usually in stock, they had a 1718-1 there last time i talked to al...back in june/july.

i think the 1718 is only available in sunburst and black and the 1719 only in black...

if you want a special color, it's a special order..
