Hello,

One year ago, I was in front of my computer's screen by a boring rainy day and I don’t know what to do ! ! !
I’ve had an idea : « Maybe could I make some web pages for my Ovation. It could be funny …»
I’ve read some forum to learn how to create a page and how to publish it on the web.
I was collecting ovation stuffs since a long time and I thought it could be great to share these documents with some fans.
It was the beginning of a great adventure for me and I couldn't imagine at this moment to be here with you one year later.

During the last 12 month, I’ve had the chance to be in contact with so kind people all around the world and this is the real reward for me.
I’d sincerely like to thank you all for your support, your help and your kindness.
I can’t thank you individually but I still remember each one of you.
I’d like to send a special thank to Dave.W, (my « Ovation godfather ») because he was the very first to help me and I don’t forget it. ;)

The space allocated by my provider wasn’t big enough that why today, I’ve moved the site to another place.
The site is now renamed to "ovationtribute.com" and I hope you will not find this name too presumptuous.

Thanks one more time to you all.

It’s good to be a small part of this community and It’s my pride.

Amicalement

Jérôme :)

Jerome, you're certainly one of the reasons this community is the success it is. You should be very proud to have contributed to so many.

On behalf of a whole lot of us, thank you.

Paul - You have contributed so much to this forum and are a great resource for all of us. We are all lucky to have you. And also all to have each other. That is what makes this place so much fun. Dave

PS - Thank you for the kinds words of "Godfather". Please don't think I'm part of the Mafia just because I grew up in New Jersey. Al is still waiting for the cement delivery for his garage.

Jerome-Thanks for a wonderful place to loose all sense of time in. I have learned a lot from your hard work. Yours is one of the nicest sites I have seen. I don't mean just guitar sites. I'm talking the whole of cyber space. Very nice work. Thanks again.

Jerome,
I think Ovation Instruments itself could access your website and learn something...excellant point of reference!

That UK II looks like a cool guitar...why have I not ever seen one? Even on the bay?

A UK2 pops up on ebay at least every other month and sometimes monthly. They go for anywhere between $500 and $900 depending on condition, color, and if someone is hot to get one.

Fantastic sounding rock guitar. I have one I am thinking about selling if you are interested. Pics in the gallery.

Hello Stephen,

I agree with you. This guitar is fantastic!!
I bought mine one year ago on Ebay for 349$ in very good shape.
I love it and it sounds so nice on my Vox amp.

It was a time where Ovations were not so appreciated as today...
This guitar is one of my favorite.
Black with rectangular abalone inlays.
A pure beauty!!!

Paul, you need to grab my new pics of the limited solid body to add to my others on your site. They are in the gallery. Matches the Deacon 12 beautifully!

Jerome... I too have another you may list in your collection.. along with my(former)..1758 and the Preacher Deluxe..currently on your site.

I have just adopted a near mint '85 collectors 12-string... very pretty and you don't have one in the gallery yet.

I'll have pics in my gallery soon... too busy playing(a little) and working(mostly).. right now.

Your site is a treasure trove of Ovation..

God Bless,

Glenn_

Jerome, I've just been buried lately, but I'm going to have scans for you of an old price list as well as an old Adamas brochure. I haven't forgotten....
