One-piece neck, so I'm guessing Balladeer, but I haven't seen this top wood before. The seller (GC, of course) doesn't seem to know what it is, serial# is 218068 which should be around '81. Anyone? Anyone? |

Celebrity with the two screws holding the Bridge. Walnut or stained out top veneer. I take it no label?
The diamond inlays say Custom (Balladeer or Celeb). |

Location: closely held secret | Yah, I thought Celeb at first too, but haven't they always had the thinline bridge? I could be wrong, haven't yet today, so I'm due. |

Location: North Texas | It looks like an older Celebrity, the neck in particular. Is it a shallow body? Since the head reads Ovation, I'll go with stoneys' Korean assesment. It appears to be a nice rig, whatever it is. |

If I remember correctly it's a Tak made neck on a Moosup made bowl, assembled in Moosup CT. |

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | Bill, this may one of the few "angel step walnut" legends that were built. As most everyone knows they made the elite model with the ASW but they also made a few in the legend model.I have seen one up close before and this looks just like it. |

Location: Tennessee | Of course I defer to W2 on this, but I have seen Korean Ultras that looked like this. But I suppose all the Moosup production was eventually farmed out to Korea so that makes sense.
Wouldn't the ASW Legend have a 5 piece neck? And no bridge bolts? |
