Location: Upper Left USA | The Proprietor, Curator, Purchasing Agent and On-the-case-worker for the Calman Adoption Agency (not to be confused with OAO's Home for Wayward Ovations) has graciously let me borrow an Adamas I so that the depth of my GAS pains could know greater limits!
It's working.
I plan to do extensive comparisons and try to figure out what the big difference is! I do have to admit, the signature inside gave me just a little more than fifty cents worth of excitement. Any opinions? |

Location: Upper Left USA | "FM"?
Frequency modulation or Freak'in Mojo?
I shared with our Band last night. Our Leader (who bought his Custom Legend with earnings from his first job) gasped in reverence and quickly noted the Brockley Head and neck size. My Bass player asked "Someone just let you borrow this?".
I reasured him it came from a guy I met in an Internet Chatroom and hoped to meet out of state sometime!
It plugged in just fine and should be part of some Special music here pretty soon. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | That's KK as in FuKKenMagic. K has a higher response than G which is a softer sound and doesn't project as much. |

Location: south east Michigan | So...."K" is textured and "G" is the smooth, woven top...right? |

Location: SoCal | MWoody (Mike) is referring to a 1986 Adamas I 1687-7 with the OP-24. Kept the two 1687-7 2-knobbers and the new 1687-8 reissue home. |
