Got the FD14 yesterday and couldn't put it aside. Boys, they don't tell stories! This guitar is tremendous! The cedar top makes a very special ringing and swinging. And I was surprised that it's the loudest guitar I have. I go with all people saying this is the best sounding O. I like all the other Os and non-Os I own. But if I could keep only one it would be the .. Excuse my interrupting. It's time to take the FD14 and play a tune for my wife. I think I will play "No woman, no cry" ;) Karl

Would we all still be going ga-ga over the FD14 if it was available by the thousands? I've probably had a bigger boner than anyone over this guitar for the past few years, but I often wonder how much the mystique and rarity of the instrument effects my opinion. Naw, that's stupid - the FD14 just sounds freaking great and that's all there is to it. Yes, like almost everyone who own's them says, it will be the last guitar I ever part with. Dave

My wife has been noticeably less vocal about my GAS since I played that one for her. It's really easy to play if you ignore all the tabs and just uses 4 barre chords with variations of them.
