I probably can't help you much on value Cliff. I would hope that in NJ you could get a lot more than what I think it would be worth here. At least the lawyers make a lot more money everywhere else. I'm also not very sympathetic. I never got any. Maybe that's why I whine so much.

Cliff Dammit you were close to me you should a contacted me hell I'd a given you a ride home, after we finished looking at the very odd leaves still on the tree's in November. Know some real nice places to stop and have a great filet etc.

Is that an Ovation case signet I see on that PT?

I like it!
By the way the car I bought for my wife is identical to the car in the reflection of yours. Yep she wanted a "grocery gettin car" and by god those old interceptors can haul a lot a crap! got a trunk big enough for three bodies

Do ya know anyone with a good body shop who owes you a favor?? That Crusier does not look as thought it is not fixable.....make a deal with the insurance guy to keep the thing and get it to someone who knows what their doing and you'll have it back in like new condition in no time!

Randy;

We only went as far North as Newburgh,
yer pretty far up there.

BodyShop:
No way. The back view is just half the damage.
The front was bashed in pretty good.
Besides, the frame was bent.
Only one of the doors is operational . . .
That being said, even if they COULD "fix it", I wouldn't WANT it.

I had a used car with a bent frame. Got it cheap in '78, a '68 galaxie 500, my first car. After two years, driving home from work, I hit a bump, the left side of the frame cracked at the bend and started dragging on the ground. It was like star wars! Sparks flying! Sold the car for parts.

(While it worked though, it was a great car --- it said:Party in me!)

I agree with the body shop, in a year or two the car will fall apart and it's dangerous.

If moody can't find his, let me know and I'll donate one to the cause. I've got one in the studio that's doing nothing more than keeping the table it's on from flying up and hitting the ceiling.

Brand New (15 miles on it).

Loaded (well, . . . as "loaded" as a PT Cruiser gets, anyway:-)

Car sat on the lot for 2 years cuz nobody wanted "stick"

Get it in about a week or so (psyched!:-)

"Shake Down Cruise" :
Driving down to have Thanksgiving Dinner with friends in Daytona.

(Hey Bill!! Turducken sandwiches??)

Good get!

Wow. Good thing my wife doesn't visit this site or she'd want me to get her one. At least I don't think she visits here. Is that you, dear? All those bad things about wives were written by some other Mark in Boise.

That drives Porsches, lusts after Ovation guitars and has a cabin with indoor plumbing but outdoor plumbing problems

Damn him! He's going to get you in trouble this time.

Well, unless your wife offers us a reasonable amount of money. Say, over $10. Or your 1537. :D

Nice ride cliff.

Going to have a christening ceremony? Maybe pour a tequila miniature over her (alternatively you could go with the economical alternative and simply drive over a can of Busch).

Gotta a name yet?

What kind of perfomance specs on her. You know, like how many mid depth O's will she hold? What constitutes a full load out in terms of passengers, guitars and amps. Did you get guitar safety seating, cause the kids are important, especially driving in kamikazee land (I should talk).

Nicely done Cliff.

But I thought in Jersey if you wanted a new car there were "ways" to make the old one disappear. You didn't have to actually risk your life getting into a real accident, did you?

Very Nice Ride Cliff! and since it was a left over NEW 04 you probably got a heck of a deal.
I'm happy for you . It looks like it's worked out to your advantage. Now if you can just get Master Keller to get you another one of those Ovation logos for the back, You'll be set!

". . go with the economical alternative and simply drive over a can of Busch . ."

Chat;
You have NO IDEA how much I'm biting my tongue on that comment. ;)
2.4L Turbo, Gretag 5-speed trans, sport suspension, heated leather, moonroof, Sirius SatRadio, power ashtray, blah, blah . . .
First Thing:
The back seats come OUT.
Lightens up the car, improves mpg, makes plenty o'room for gear (still trying to find a home for the OLD ones sitting in my garage . .)

Funny thing is:
I was talking with dealers from as far (from me) as Ohio and Virginia, and couldn't find what I wanted. THIS car was sitting (for two years) litterally within walking distance from Jeanette's office . . .

Not really into "naming" cars.
(although, "Kismet" might fit) . . .
