But I do know that when I go into the Guitar Center, I am the oldest guy in there and all the others look a lot more like Nikki Sixx than like me. Except that I'm probably closer to his age than they are. Fact is that the kids spend the money and the advertisers know that. | ||

My father-in-law signed me up, not as the cruel joke that it was, but because he thinks the senior citizen discount is a great deal. I haven't used it in the couple years that I've had the AARP card. I think my wife just renews my membership so that she doesn't have to get her own. Maybe Ovation ads in with the Viagra ads wouldn't be such a good thing, but I'm sure some of you marketing gurus could come up with something, no pun intended. How about "the new LX. You don't need to seek medical help if you can't put it down for four hours." | ||
