Ebay # 7360873386. It'll probably arrive next week sometime.

Well...I hope you love yours as much as I love my recently-acquired 1115. I had an '02 CL 12string and I much prefer the sound and playability of this 12 fret slothead. Enjoy! John <>{

It's here! #261711 (1981?). Really old ratty strings on it, but I tuned her up and it sounds pretty nice. I'll check out the electronics tomorrow. Question: Tune to standard pitch? Some 12 bangers are supposed to be tuned down a step.

I usually flatpick bluegrass and fiddle tunes, so there's a bit of a technique to relearn in "swinging" wide enough to hit both strings -- a lot of the time my pick is going right between the double strings and only hitting one. Something more to work on! :-)

Thanks to everyone that chimed in -- I don't think I would have even considered an Ovation if I hadn't found this site.

Tune it to standard pitch. It's built for it.

Bill, good luck with the 12string. I have a GC1618-2 that I keep basicly because it's the only 12string that fingerpicks as easy as any 6 string I own.
