i have the los lonley boys album, and while they are good, i dont really care for about 1/2 the songs. id like to check them out in 10 years or so and see what their doing, maybe its because there a little too one style for me. i like to hear a jumbled up mash of personality and life when i listen to a record, but i guess thats just me. unless your BB King, Buddy Guy or someone like that, i have a hard time taking pure blues seriously. its more like cyan pepper than rice if you know what i mean.

For me it was Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown.

Both the live performances and the man's ability were incredible to see. Sad that he passed away earlier this year after Katrina destroyed his home.
