A buddy of mine goes every year and threatens to throw me in the car every time. I keep waiting for that to happen...he calls it the best show on the East Coast.

I'm afraid of my total lack of respect for boudaries, fiscal and otherwise. Yes, there are times when it scares even me but a wise woman once told me that the secret to a long, happy life is knowing your own limitations. That sounded a lot more intelligent than I would ever be so I married her.

If you would keep a look out for a Daion HH-555 Headhunter I'd appreciate it.

Sorry I could not make it to the show. My travel plans this past weekend were to take my family to my sister in laws on Friday. She is the one that lives in West Hartford (Just 18 miles from the factory).I returned home on Friday afternoon and had to go to work at 5 pm. On Sunday I went back to West Hartford to pick everyone up. I was as close to the factory as you can get without going in. The two round trips were a total of 470 miles.
With my luck I will have to go to Philadelphia when OFC 2006 happens.

well
the guitar show was a blast. Many more customers this time than last summer.
I saw no ovation fan club guys. I did meet a former endorsee who wanted to sell me his LX now that he is using breedlove.
sold a few guitars and odds and ends, had a good time.

Detroit has it's version of a guitar show. I've been to one and that was quite enough. Philly has to be better. It would be hard to be worse.

My buddy said this year's show was outstnding. Great equipment and a great turnout to go with it. He ended up picking up some classic Fender amps (he's a bit of a "vintage collector"). Said some of the Strats were just incredible.

Maybe next year...
