Location: Idaho | I have been shopping for a CA with a 1.75 neck nut width for sometime now. I finally decided to order a 6773LX with a narrow neck. When I called the factory, I was told they could do it. That was great news to me and I said the only thing that would make me happier is if they could do it in an Adamas. The production line guy said just wait til next year. Adamas nylon model will be out in either 1st or 2nd Qtr!!! Now comes the waiting. |

Location: North Texas | My 1624 CA has a 1 7/8" neck also. Just in case anybody needs, or cares to know: 1.75 = 1 3/4" and 1.875 = 1 7/8". It seems like 1 3/4" would be kind of skinny for a nylon string guitar, however, it might be great for a player who uses the instrument in a non-classical sytle. I play my CA like I play a steel string. The nylons put out a nice amplified tone. I'd like to try an extra skinny necked CA also, I did not know they existed. Cheers |

Location: Idaho | I passed up a 1624 several years ago and have kicked myself ever since. I have a Guild Paloma(nylon) with 1 1/2 string spacing on a 1.8 nut and love the playability--miss the acoustics as it's total electric. According to O's website, the 6774LX folklore has a 1.75 neck and I was planning on having that neck put on a 6773LX. Assuming most 1.75 necks have 1 1/2 spacing it would be perfect for me. |

Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | I wonder how they'll do it. Generally, doesn't the adamas lend itself to steel strings? Will they change the composition of the top to take into account that it's a nylon string? I'll definitely have to try one. |

Nice little store anyway. I see you have a 1763 and a 1547. Wow. Next time I come up to visit my daughter in Moscow, I'll look you up and you can give me some lessons. Sorry I can't root for the Vandals next week against BSU. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I'll be in McCall on Christmas and my daughter who is in Moscow should be coming down to meet us. She just graduated last spring. Somehow she became a vegetarian, liberal and bought an Ibanez because Ovations aren't all wood. I don't know where she went astray. She never claimed the Vandals either. Great school though and real easy on dads' wallets. |
