That thread is hilarious... should be required reading... or maybe I'm just twisted.

post# 34: "Someone that doesn't have anything to lose probably will kick your ass and go to jail. When they get out, they'll kick your ass again and go back. The cycle could be never ending over 25 bucks. What's your medical deductible? You should start thinking about sending the money."

post# 35 from the Moderator: "So Charlie, how is the Audi running these days anyway.
Hopefully you don't have any outstanding parking tickets.
Seriously, it's be easier if you would be nice. I hate getting mean. But I really enjoy my work once I get mad. Just send the gears and go away."

I just skipped ahead to post# 1306: "Even the Christians and geeks are gonna see what a loser you are? Don't worry though the Christians will be praying for ya."

The seller shot himself in the foot, for 25 bucks, and it was his error in the first place. Sad, pathetic, and amusing.

He finally did post an apology , but even that was questionable (the first couple of times).

With all the people reading that thread, I'd be worried...all it takes is one slightly unhinged reader...

sounds like something that my 1/2 brother (distant 1/2 brother) would do...course, that's why he's distant.

I'm only up to msg#310, but the next time an eBay Seller misrepresents the condition of a guitar and gives me a hard time, I'm going over to the Pirate4x4 Board and get it resolved.

It looks like he brought down a world of hurt on himself and his family.

As I scrolled further through that thread, Charlie went out of his way to enrage the mob.
My amusement turned into concern... should the Moderator have contacted the young man's parents in the beginning and shutdown the thread?

Amazing how far some one will go over 25 bucks when he should have just admitted he made a mistake and went on with life. The only question not answered by the end of page 38 was whether or not Charlie sent a real/valid money order for the refund.
