Parksons makes some great tuners.

I have used several different ones and my favorite is the Intellitouch PT-2.
It clamps on the headstock and picks up the vibrations that way. Not influenced by ambient noise, digital readout is large enough to be seen easily.

I've had an Intelitouch and have had problems with it with Ovations. It has to be attached down by the E string, on either side and doesn't always pick up the needed vibrations.

I agree that the intellitouch is not ideally suited to the standard Ovation peghead...but on my O's with slotted headstocks and on my other guitars it works fine.

I like the Sabine's, they attach to the body of the guitar, and like the Intelitouch, tune from vibration. I've been using Sabine's for years and just love em!!

Korg CA-30 works really well for me. Under $20.00 :)

Boss TU-2.
It's a "stompbox", but it's accurate as hell . . .

Korg is the best of the cheap ones. Just get the 15 dollar guitar / bass tuner.

For my 1624 I use an A tuning fork. And then tune the guitar to itself. Planet waves also has an E fork.

Oops, I edited my post. Yes, paranthetically, paranthetically, is the word of the day. But only paranthetically.

I like the Korg, too. I think the guitar/bass one for under $15 is the CA 30. Plug it in or use the mic.

The Korg works well, especially for the price. I also have the Boss TU-2. It's more expensive, but also more accurate.

I like my OP50. Does anyone know how much these are from the factory for a retrofit?
