Joined: September 2003 Posts: 782 Location: Waurika OK | I have used several different ones and my favorite is the Intellitouch PT-2. It clamps on the headstock and picks up the vibrations that way. Not influenced by ambient noise, digital readout is large enough to be seen easily. | ||

Joined: March 2002 Posts: 15678 Location: SoCal | I've had an Intelitouch and have had problems with it with Ovations. It has to be attached down by the E string, on either side and doesn't always pick up the needed vibrations. | ||

Joined: May 2003 Posts: 4389 Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | Korg is the best of the cheap ones. Just get the 15 dollar guitar / bass tuner. For my 1624 I use an A tuning fork. And then tune the guitar to itself. Planet waves also has an E fork. | ||
