Yes it is, however, the Grand Ole Opry is still in operation. The Ryman Auditorium is now an historical site. Very cool tour, by the way. The new Opry venue is ultra modern in design, and right next to Opryland. The building is very nice, but it lacks the intimate ambiance of the old theater.

Our Naishville office does a lot of work at Opryland.

From what I've heard, it's a major venue for a lot of BlueHair Conventions . . .

The year that country music finally died!!!!

Real grassroots country is alive and well at clubs and music festivals. But little of it was anywhere near that stage in New York. AKUS is as close as it got.

Ovations may not have been onstage at the CMAs in NYC but they did make it on the VIP passes.... CMA badges

Nope. NotMe.

We really didn't "DO" the CMA's.
What I saw on the Production Schedule was just for some "ancillary" stuff at the Garden and some of the hotels (tables/chairs/hi-wall-drape for press conferences, receptions, . . crap like dat . . )
