I started using the XLR jack a week ago and was really impressed with the increased signal and quality of the tone. What I hadn't noticed until last night is that when I turn on the tuner, it actually increases the volume and changes the tone settings of the preamp. As soon as the tuner shuts off, things are back to normal. Anybody else have this problem?

Not that I've ever noticed. Of course I haven't had mine that long.

Is it a big difference?

BIG difference. Lots of booming low end.
