The only other Deacon promo pieces I have are the ones Sam graciously gave me when I bought the guitar. I recently talked to the guy Sam got to put the Demon-D together, and when I said that I had bought a guitar from Sam, he said "Oh, then I'm sorry to hear that you paid too much." Turns out they are childhood buddies.

Plus, like I tell people trying to negoiate with me, if you think the price is too high, then don't buy it. I have never had buyer's remorse for a piece of gear I really wanted. My need always justified the price......especially for keepers versus investment/collector items.

I could have paid much less for a Balladeer than I did too, but I wanted a special finish, and I got what I wanted. Kerry was joking mostly. He and Sam go waaaaaaay back.
