I started a serial number and color list for OFC members. Sign up your Breadwinner or Deacon HERE.

Hi Dave

Just one question - would one mail with multiple numbers be OK for you, or have you got some fancy automatic thingy going on?

Cheers, bud.

One mail is fine. I'm strictly a manual operation. Dave

Shhhh, if the gov't finds out they'll force me to pay minimum wage. I can't afford that. Make no mistake, Arizona would NOT exist if it wasn't for the Mexican workforce. Dave

Do you want mine? It's an NOS assembly, so the SN doesn't mean much.

On a related note, I just bought a "Don't Dilly Dally Dude" deacon ad on ebay. It was just too funny to pass up. The only other Deacon promo pieces I have are the ones Sam graciously gave me when I bought the guitar. I recently talked to the guy Sam got to put the Demon-D together, and when I said that I had bought a guitar from Sam, he said "Oh, then I'm sorry to hear that you paid too much."

Turns out they are childhood buddies.

Sma's prices may be a tad high but you know you are getting an excellent piece of gear that Sam will stand behind.

Plus, like I tell people trying to negoiate with me, if you think the price is too high, then don't buy it.

I have never had buyer's remorse for a piece of gear I really wanted. My need always justified the price......especially for keepers versus investment/collector items.

No serial numbers needed. Just describe what you've got and I'll add it to the list

I've never had any remorse, Stephen. As a guitar, it's worth more than I paid. Plus, it's unique. I could have paid much less for a Balladeer than I did too, but I wanted a special finish, and I got what I wanted.

Kerry was joking mostly. He and Sam go waaaaaaay back.

and Captain....that's the way it should be!

Sam has some great stuff and I would never hesitate to buy anything he was selling that I was interested in.
