But it needs cleaning, detailing, and once upon a time someone installed active electronics in it. I had them removed(that wasn't factory, was it?)and could really stand to find a schematic or owners manual to make sure it's back the way it was meant because the selector switch sounds have never impressed me much. | ||

Joined: November 2005 Posts: 4827 Location: Campbell River, British Columbia | Hmmmm, Maybe I'm not specific enough. One pickup has hairline crack. Fake gold bridge is pitted and corroded.(I used to sweat heavily :-) ) White trim on neck is starting to break off now and again. | ||

Upload the pics into there and then you can either tell everyone here to check out your gallery, put a direct link here or link directly to the pic so that the pics show in your post. Joined: March 2002 Posts: 15664 Location: SoCal | I don't think the Thead ever had a 5 way selector switch.... It had a master volume, 2 tone knobs, a blender knob (in place of a selector switch), and an off/on/lead switch in the upper shoulder. | ||

I can see from your website that my guitar has been badly bastardized. the 3 way selector is currently wired to choose between front, back, or combined pickups. Have to put rewiring on the job list. Maybe the wife will let me sneak it on the honeydew list... ;) | ||
