To you guys who weighed in on my question of which was a better buy, a slightly used CS245, or a slightly used Melissa at a little more than twice the price... a major thanks for your input! The votes are in, and I'm glad to say that this ain't Florida... there were no hanging chads with you guys! It was the Melissa in a runaway. I guess that qualifies as a "duh", but what's a newbie who has lusted after Ovations for 30 years to do but ask the connoisseurs? All I had was a gut feel... you guys drove it home with no uncertainty!

Long story short... I bought the Melissa. (Good thing my wife supports my musical habit) I was emailed today she's on her way (The Melissa, not my wife), so now I'm in the "can't wait" stage.

If anyone's interested, I'll put up pix after the guitar arrives... but the real point of this long and rambling post is to say THANKS to those who gave me the info I needed to make up my mind (not just to conform that the Melissa was the better guitar... you guys made me feel comfortable that she was worth the price.)

GREAT DECISION! :D

Absolutely send up the pics.

Do you know how to set up your OFC member gallery?
Have you visited the OFC gallery?

Not sure how to do it? Plenty of people willing to help!

Never been to the OFC gallery, or posted to
it. I knew it existed... but not how to get to it. Being a guy, asking for directions comes slowly. (OK, I'm asking for directions. My wife would be so proud.)

If you can't see the the green frame with member access on the left, then go to the bottom of the screen and click on the "Ovation Fan Club" link.
