anyone here know of any good fingerstyle guitar forums attached to good websites? im working my way through celtic guitar from the acoustic masters series, and while its improving my fingerstyle through osmosis, id love to talk to more expirienced players about it. if not, any accomplished stylists here can feel free to give me some advice on picking patterns, arrangements, walking basslines and runs, and classical techniques that can help me shed the plectrum more often. :D

heh. nice lessons, but i guess i should have said that i have been playing for 10 years. i just had a complete change of style not to long ago (effects laden metal to country/folk stuff) and i have always loved the sound of fingerstyle. its cool that he plays an ovation though.

Is it just me, or does that site have a plague of popups?

bumpity bump, www.learnclassicalguitar.com has some really good lessions with video for free. while they are classical peices it really helps with finger independance and if you mine them thre are some unique patterns that you can use out of classical context.
