Sorry to stray off topic (non Ovation), but I could not resist this. I have been loking for one for a long time. Only 250 made. It arrived yesterday and is perfect. Seller talked about pick scratches, but I can't find them.

Steve Howe 00-18SH Vintage

We now return to your regularly scheduled Ovation programming.

That is one sweet guitar! I am curious how these little 00 body sizes sound volume-wise? Do they hold up well to srumming or are they more suited to finger picking?

Very nice Dave. Have you received the Norm Blake yet?
How do the two compare?

No. Any day now. Looks like it'll be a wooden box xmas around my house.

volume wise?
It definately does not have the balls of a D, but it's crystal clear mellow and woody. Nice combination. Volume is more than an Ovation shallow, but less than a deep bowl.

I had some special mods done to the NB so it's been about a 6 month wait. But will be worth it. Dave
